DIRECT INVESTMENT FUND

The Battle Creek Unlimited Direct Investment Fund's primary purpose is to recruit businesses to our vibrant community and to help established businesses grow to their full potential.  The fund is used to support the economic development efforts of the City of Battle Creek and its designated economic development agencies.  Funding for loans and equity investments are available.

Rental Rehab Program
The City of Battle Creek rental program uses Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to support the development and rehabilitation of quality rental housing that will increase the housing density and enhance the vibrancy of mixed use neighborhoods, providing housing that is walkably connected to shopping, parks, jobs, schools and other community amenities.
